| My work has developed from studies in the
1970's of cell, water and organic forms, with a parallel investigation of Eastern
Religions. In the 1980's my work evolved into an exploration of the new physics and new science, particularly Chaos Theory and Fractal Geometry, and through personal experience of states of consciousness in meditation. In August 1987 I discovered a new technique which I called "double-edging" that allowed me to express these states more effectively. The early double-edging was more crystalline in appearance, which over the years slowly progressed to a more harmonious balance of fluid and geometric form.
